Bad news for Jon Kenniston: his car was stolen, and his bike and skateboard with it. So if you see anyone driving in a maroon `86 Toyota Camry with Mr. T Experience, They Might Be Giants, and Bikes Not Bombs stickers on it and it's not Jon, call the cops. (Same goes for any suspicious chrome Hoffman Big Daddies.) Merry Christmas, Jonny...

12/28 update:
Jon got his car back with repairable damage. Bike and board missing, though...

I found a sad story on ex-rider Adam Murphy in Salt Magazine. Apparently he's now confined to a wheelchair after suffering a stroke. For those of you too young to remember Adam, he was one of the most innovative riders to come out of New England. (I'll try to put up some old video footage of him in the near future.) #

Some news about Jared Souney: he got engaged to longtime girlfriend Bonnie Cirillo over Thanksgiving. (Congratulations, you two!) What else has Jarhead been up to?

"I've been working on Primo's site, and shooting photos for Dig, Primo, Etnies, and BMX Action (which is changing the name to Faction BMX for legal reasons as of this issue). The Primo site is still a work in progress, but it's getting there. I've just been riding a lot...not much flat though. Gabe just moved out here, so hopefully that will get me off my ass on the flat."
Also, there's an unconfirmed rumor that John Cote also has finally asked Allie to marry him (though perhaps it was the other way around).

Update from John Cote:
"The rumor is true, Allie and I got engaged in October. Also, Manchester has a new concrete park open to bikes Wednesdays and Sundays. Everything is small so flatlanders don't need to be scared to ride the park."

The unusually warm winter continues here in eastern Massachusetts, further extending the outdoor riding season. Today it's around 50 degrees F, and yesterday it was an unbelievable 70 degrees! Yesterday's Cambridge riding session was all short-sleeves, and Spike was even sporting shorts. Weird December, but we're not complaining...yet. #
