Support eWire

I don't make any money doing eWire — in fact I lose money, both in terms of time spent and actual costs involved (web hosting, film, developing, equipment, software, etc.). So why do I do it? Because I like to (I've been doing `zines since 1986): I like riding and providing an alternative to big magazines, as well as giving coverage to lesser-known riders (especially here in New England). I also like web design and photography, and it's cool that people enjoy visiting the site.

I ran ads on eWire for a while to try to recover some of the cost involved with it. It worked a little bit, but I really don't like having ads on the site. So instead, I'm going to use Amazon.com's affiliate program.
